Our School Vision 2019/20
Inspiring children to be resilient and aspirational learners, within a positive and considerate community.
Welcome to our school website!
Brunshaw Primary School is a happy and successful school located near to the football club in Burnley.
We are constantly looking for ways to improve our school, so that we can provide the very best education for every one of our children.
We offer a wide and varied curriculum for children from Nursery (age 3) to Year 6. We ensure that learning is both fun and challenging, so that all children have the knowledge and skills needed to make the very best of their future lives.
We have a wide range of activities throughout the school day, such as all Key Stage 2 children learning a musical instrument. We also have a varied selection of after school clubs, such as first aid for children, drama and many different sports. Our breakfast club operates from 8.20am until 9.00 am and it is only 50p per day or £2 per week for all children.
We are a larger than average primary school, situated across two sites (the Foundation Centre building for Nursery and Reception and the Main School building for Years 1 to 6). We currently have 470 children, 21 teachers, 27 support staff, 3 learning mentors, 1 family support worker and 1 children’s councillor. There are 2 classes in each year group.
If you would like to have a look around our school, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can call in to the main school office or call us on 01282 423280.
